Is Ricky Martin Top or Bottom? Maybe Vers?

Puerto Rican heartthrob Ricky Martin came out of the closet on his official site by saying: “I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am.”

Though there hasn’t been an official press confirmation to this message, many question the authenticity of the story and still believe that his site has been the target of a hacker attack.

However, though the story has been lingering for years, many have embraced his coming out and are not so surprised by it.

Now that he is officially out of the closet (well, at least the cyber-closet), the star may have opened a Pandora’s box which will force him to answer many other questions, such as his sexual role: Is he a top or a bottom? Or maybe versatile?

Close sources to the star say that he is a bottom, though many argue that the star could be happily versatile.

While the Martin is yet to make an official press announcement, this coming out has indeed put him back on the spotlight, which had been dimming for the past few years since taking time to father his two kids since 2008.

Many critics say the star may be subject of attacks by anti-gay critics who will question his sexual preference while managing the Ricky Martin Foundation, which fights children trafficking around the world, among others.

Others say that Hollywood execs and book publishing companies may already be preparing their fangs to cash-in on this new chapter of Martin’s life. Regardless on the outcome, the star has indeed made the announcement of 2010.
